COLOR BOOST (CB & CB+) Protector is specially designed to protect and enhance the color of porous concrete pavers and natural stones. It prevents deterioration caused by chemical products such as de-icing salts, while providing resistance to acids and alkalis. Its active agents deeply penetrate the surface to form an invisible bond that stops contaminants, facilitating the maintenance of pavers and natural stones. Water based, COLOR BOOST Protector does not release unpleasant fumes and it is environmentally friendly.

|Questions and Answers
Q. What are the benefits of a good protector for Pavers ?
A. Benefits of sealing pavers include: minimize maintenance, prevent stains from oil, food and drink spillages, BBQ grease, dirt, fallen leaves and pet messes (If pavers are sealed, stains will remain on the sealant and not penetrate into the paver pores), slow the growth of moss or mildew in damp areas, reduce the rate of color fade, inhibit weed infestation and keep your pavers looking new for longer period of time.
Q. Why is it important to clean the surface before applying a protector ?
A. Because Protectors need to penetrate concrete pores. Cleaners such as the Paver Primer and Hardscape Cleaner remove ground-in dirt and effloreresence, allowing protector to penetrate. Good penetration means better looking pavers and longer lasting effect.
Q. Are Water-Based Sealants as effective as Solvent-Based Sealants ?
A. Yes. Techniseal water-based paver Protectors are made from the most advanced polymer technology available. Today, these sealants can even outperform solvent-based products by leaving thicker, more durable protective coating on the surface.
Q. My Pavers were previously treated with a Sealant from another brand. Can I seal them with a Techniseal Protector ?
A. Yes. However, it will be necessary to wait until the sealant is worn before applying a Techniseal Protector.
Q. I will clean my Pavers with a water jet before sealing them. Is this enough ?
A. No. Always use a cleaner to clean pavers thoroughly. A simple water jet will not remove grease stains and will not dissolve efflorescence, a whitish salt that accumulates at the surface of pavers. It is highly recommended to always.
