Made of siloxanes, WR7 Waterproofing Sealant is specially designed to protect vertical masonry surfaces and mortar joints. It prevents deterioration due to chemical products such as de-icing salts, while providing resistance to acids and alkalis. Its active agents form an invisible bond that stops the penetration of contaminants, facilitating the maintenance of facades and other vertical surfaces. It helps preventing dust adhesion on the surface, as well as black stains due to air pollution. Water based, WR7 Sealant does not release unpleasant fumes, and it is environmentally friendly
Application & Instruction :
- For Natural Stone, Brick, Concrete Slab & Poured Concrete surface
- Surface must be clean, dry and warm to the touch.
- Temperature must be between 50°F and 86°F.
- No rain forecasted for the next 24 hours.
- Sprinkler system must be turned off.
- Use a consistent application method over entire surface.
- ALWAYS TEST on a small hidden area of approximately 4 sq. ft. to ensure that result meets your expectations.
Please Note :
- Wait 28 days before applying to fresh concrete or to new mortar joints.
- Do not apply to marble, travertine, slate or limestone.
- Application to a horizontal surface.
- Apply only to a bare material or to materials previously sealed with this product.
- Wait until surface is no longer water-repellent before recoating (minimum 5 years).
- Any new concrete product has the potential to produce efflorescence (whitish salts) on its surface. This protector will not trap efflorescence, which will disappear by itself after prolonged exposure to weathering.
- Do not attempt sprayer application on windy days.
- Do not apply this product over a blotchy or hazed surface.
- In some cases, the treatment could darken the color of the material.
- Product must be kept in its original, unopened and tightly sealed container and stored in a dry and well ventilated place with controlled temperature (40°F to 75°F). Keep sheltered from weather and direct sunlight. Properly stored, the product’s shelf life is 3 years following production (see date on packaging).
- DO NOT use product if it is not perfectly homogeneous or if it smells foul. DO NOT apply to fresh concrete or new cementitious materials (masonry, paving, etc.) of less than 60 days. Apply only to porous materials.
- Wash tools and hands with warm soapy water. Consult your retailer or community agency for disposal of empty containers or unused product.
*ABSORPTION TEST: Sprinkle a few drops of water on surface. If water is repelled, do not apply this product.

A. Benefits of sealing pavers include: minimize maintenance, prevent stains from oil, food and drink spillages, BBQ grease, dirt, fallen leaves and pet messes (If pavers are sealed, stains will remain on the sealant and not penetrate into the paver pores), slow the growth of moss or mildew in damp areas, reduce the rate of color fade, inhibit weed infestation and keep your pavers looking new for longer period of time.Q. Why is it important to clean the surface before applying a protector ?
A. Because Protectors need to penetrate concrete pores. Cleaners such as the Paver Primer and Hardscape Cleaner remove ground-in dirt and effloreresence, allowing protector to penetrate. Good penetration means better looking pavers and longer lasting effect.Q. Are Water-Based Sealants as effective as Solvent-Based Sealants ?
A. Yes. Techniseal water-based paver Protectors are made from the most advanced polymer technology available. Today, these sealants can even outperform solvent-based products by leaving thicker, more durable protective coating on the surface.Q. My Pavers were previously treated with a Sealant from another brand. Can I seal them with a Techniseal Protector ?
A. Yes. However, it will be necessary to wait until the sealant is worn before applying a Techniseal Protector.Q. I will clean my Pavers with a water jet before sealing them. Is this enough ?
A. No. Always use a cleaner to clean pavers thoroughly. A simple water jet will not remove grease stains and will not dissolve efflorescence, a whitish salt that accumulates at the surface of pavers. It is highly recommended to always.
